“The wound is the place where light enters.” ~Rumi

Welcome.

My experience in this field began in my own life, through my own healing and recovery from complex and relational trauma. I sought many types healing for myself, and traveled the world in search of ‘what works for me that I can share with others?’. My formal education is both in Psychology and Social Work from San Diego State University that led me to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have worked across the healthcare field in medical clinics, psychiatric facilities, residential treatments, and crisis units. I have trained 720 hours in yoga and vedic philosophy including; Hatha, Sivanada, Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), and Kundalini Yoga. With my studies in both Eastern and Western modalities, I have crafted my own holistic style of therapy through blending somatic and cognitive therapies and use EMDR. With couples I use Gottman Method and EMDR.

I work with trauma and addiction all over the spectrum, offer gender and sexuality affirming therapy, am a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), and specialize with ENM/CNM/non-monogamy.

I’m Darlynn (she/her), a mover and a healer.
